I am not sure what is going on – so excuse me if I am out of line… But maybe this person you are talking about is in so much pain that even though they LOVE you, it isn’t enough to keep them wanting to be in this world? I don’t know. I can see how that still feels like rejection – but… I guess what I am saying is if this person feels like life is just too hard, they may feel grateful for you and your friendship, but they may not have the resources to cope with everything else in their life. It doesn’t mean that you are not valued and important – and I know it is another person leaving you… I don’t know. I am just sorry you are going through this.

Watching someone else in pain is never easy.
Sounds like it would be hard, when I am hurting inside, someone who can, as I term it ‘ hold that space’, it personally easies a little of the need to go… your in my thoughts
